Sinéad Cormican Benítez (Palma, 1995), whose father is Irish and whose mother is from Cádiz, grew up in a house where music and different cultures coexist simultaneously.
She studied violin for twelve years at the Calvià Municipal Music School, and at eighteen she decided to further her violin studies by taking the Higher Degree in Classical Violin Performance at the Higher Conservatory of the Balearic Islands. After two years on the island, she decided to move to finish her studies at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, graduating in 2018.
This change is motivated by the violinist’s interest in the world of jazz, of which the city of Barcelona is a pioneer. After three years of classes and training in this field, he returned to Mallorca to begin his advanced jazz singing course.
He has an almost family-like relationship with the musicians in his band. That’s why in this project there is a connection and respect that develops into music made with great care and love.
